Terms & Conditions

1. Our services

• We provide car washing and related vehicle cleaning services as displayed on the Platform or at our premises.
• Services, prices, operating hours and available booking times may change from time to time. We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that information displayed on the Platform is accurate and up to date.
• Service times may vary depending on the vehicle, selected service, vehicle condition, customer requirements, queue volumes and operational circumstances.

2. Check-in Now bookings

• A Check-in Now booking is used when a customer arrives at the carwash and uses the Platform to process their booking.
• The customer may select the available service and provide the required vehicle and booking information.
• A Check-in Now booking does not necessarily mean that the vehicle will be serviced immediately. The vehicle may be subject to the existing queue and operational capacity.

3. Check-in Later bookings

• A Check-in Later Booking is a scheduled booking made through the Platform for a future date and time.
• Your scheduled time slot is reserved for you. However, if there is an existing queue and all service bays are occupied, you may need to wait until the next available bay.
• You are expected to arrive at or reasonably close to your scheduled time. A 15 minute grace period applies to late arrivals. If you arrive after the grace period, your booking may be moved to the next available time, you may be required to join the existing queue, or your booking may be cancelled.

4. Payments

• Customers may pay for their booking using the payment methods made available by us, which may include payment through the Platform, cash payment, or card payment at the carwash.
• Where payment is made through the Platform, the payment may be processed by a third-party payment provider.
• A booking marked as unpaid remains subject to availability and booking policies.
• Customers must not use fraudulent payment methods or submit false refund or chargeback claims.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your booking through the Platform or by contacting us. Payments made for bookings are non-refundable, including where you cancel, do not arrive, or we cancel the booking due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. However, where a paid booking is cancelled, we may, at our discretion, provide you with a voucher for the same amount paid instead of a refund.

We may cancel or reschedule a booking where reasonably necessary, including due to equipment failure, power outages, severe weather, staff shortages, health or safety concerns, temporary closure, operational problems, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Any voucher issued will be subject to the expiry date and other conditions communicated when issued. Nothing in these Terms removes any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

6. No-shows

A booking may be treated as a No-Show where a customer does not arrive for a scheduled booking and does not cancel it.

7. Refunds

• Payments made for bookings are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or we determine that a refund is appropriate.
• Where a refund is required or approved, we may, at our discretion, provide either a refund to the original payment method or a voucher for the same amount paid, subject to applicable law.
• A voucher may be subject to reasonable conditions, including an expiry date and use towards services offered by us.
• Where a refund is made to the original payment method, the time taken for the refund to reflect may depend on the relevant bank, card issuer or payment provider.
• Once a service has been completed, no refund or voucher will be provided simply because you change your mind or are dissatisfied with the service, except where required by applicable law.

8. Service complaints

• Customers who are unhappy with a completed service should report the issue as soon as reasonably possible through the platform reviews channel.
• We may investigate the complaint and may request photographs, videos, booking information or other reasonable evidence.

9. Prices and additional services

• Prices will be displayed on the Platform, or through other approved communication channels.
• Additional services, extras or add-ons requested by the customer may result in an additional charge.
• Where reasonably possible, the customer will be informed of any additional charge before the additional service is performed.

10. Promotions and vouchers

• We may offer promotions, discounts, vouchers, loyalty rewards or special offers.
• Promotions and vouchers may have their own conditions, including expiry dates, selected services, selected dates, minimum spend requirements, or other reasonable restrictions.
• Unless otherwise stated, vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
• We may amend or withdraw promotions where reasonably necessary and permitted by law.

11. The Platform

• The Platform is a technology service that allows customers and us to manage bookings, payments and related information.
• The Platform Provider does not provide the actual car washing service.
• We remain responsible for providing the selected car wash service, the quality of the service, vehicle handling, cancellations initiated by us, applicable refunds relating to the service, and service-related complaints.
• The Platform Provider is responsible for providing and maintaining the technology platform on a reasonable-efforts basis.
• The Platform Provider is not responsible for our failure to provide a service, delays, vehicle damage, service quality, staffing, equipment failure or other matters relating directly to our operations.

Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any rights you may have under applicable law.

12. Platform availability

• We will make reasonable efforts to keep the Platform available and functioning.
• However, the Platform may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical problems, internet connectivity, third-party service providers, payment providers or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
• Where the Platform is unavailable, we will use alternative booking or payment processes where available.

13. Customer conduct

• Customers must treat carwash employees, Platform representatives and other customers respectfully.
• We do not tolerate abusive, threatening, violent, discriminatory, fraudulent or unlawful behaviour.
• We may refuse service or cancel a booking where reasonably necessary to protect customers, employees, property or operations.

14. Limitation of liability

• We will take reasonable care in providing our services. The Platform Provider is responsible for the operation and availability of the Platform.
• To the extent permitted by law, neither we nor the Platform Provider will be responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our or their reasonable control.
• Our responsibility relates primarily to the services we provide, while the Platform Provider's responsibility relates primarily to the operation of the Platform.
• Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove, restrict or reduce any consumer right available under applicable South African law.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

17. Acceptance

By making a booking, making a payment, checking in or using the services of "Levati Car Wash", you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, together with the Disclaimer and Privacy Policy.
